What was the transition/acclamation process like for you when you moved out to California being from Houston/Atlanta?

You mentioned in a previous episode that one of the issues we are dealing with as a country is the idea that the system is designed for power to shift between the two major parties and that going into the last election, both sides were treating it like not winning would lead to irreparable damage. Over 60 days into the new regime, I feel safe in saying those on one side believe this is the case.
